Lagos Nigeria - Everything about Zain Nigeria Post Paid Service Called Zain Corporate Package.

Last month I was introduced to the Zain Nigeria post-paid service officially called Zain Corporate Package.

My friend who introduced the package to me said it was a great way to save money on calls and increase funds available for investment.

I asked him what the call rates were but he had no clue. The only thing he knew was that his call expense had reduced drastically since he started using the Zain Corporate Package or post paid package.

I decided to heed his advice even though he had no data to prove his claim. I was particularly concerned about cutting my expense on consumer goods and make those funds available for investment in hot properties.

To cut a long story short, I got a Zain line and booked my limit at =N=8,000 per month. Several times during the month I checked my balance to see how my call total was rising. To my surprise, I found my call sum was rising rather slowly.

This must be a joke. Was the call rate that low?

I decided to wait for the end of month bill to arrive. When it did, I found my call for the entire month (November 2008)was =N=3,865.

That was a pleasant surprise because I use to spending at least =N=500 per day and =N=15,000 per month on my previous network (I still have the line) with pre-paid billing package.

I did a quick calculation based on the bill amounts and found that I was billed 19 kobo/sec for Zain to Zain calls and 28.6 kobo/sec for Zain to other networks.
