The Yoruba Culture Nigeria

by kemi Ajalabi
(lagos)

In this piece of writing (Nigerian Culture - The True Culture Of Nigeria), the true identity of yoruba people was not given.

Yoruba women are highly materialistic and dubious. Their men are proud and dubious as well.

In the real sense of respect, yorubas are not respectful but they pretend to be. The word "pretence" is a typical yoruba character.

A yoruba couple can be cheating with their closest neighbour, hence the saying: A yoruba man can have a child with a strange woman upstairs, while he lives downstairs with his legal family.

Yorubas cannot be trusted with a penny because, often times, they feel they are highly intelligent and smarter than any other tribe.

Every yoruba president we had in the past, got the position in a cunning matter. No man can define the wealth of a prominent yoruba man unlike other tribes.

I am yoruba but we need to be honest with ourselves.

Wisdom, Cunning, Pretense?
by: Anonymous

I am Yoruba and a true one to boot! Yoruba kare omo Oduduiwa... ogbon ori wa ni won n ki.

Yoruba's are known for wisdom, we might not be as commerce oriented as Igbos but wisdom serves us well in our chosen careers, it is wisdom that makes the Yoruba person hardworking and not lazy.

There are cheats in every tribe but know this when u cheat a Yoruba man and he says nothing, it is cos he has already nailed u somewhere else!

Are u saying the Yoruba woman is stupid not to know her husband has a concubine?

I bet u she knows and has already nailed the culprit somewhere ... painful!
