BEAUTIFUL BUT.....

I WAS AT SOUTHGATE HOTEL FEW DAYS AGO TO NEGOTIATE AND RESERVE ACCOMMODATION FOR ABOUT 30 OF MY DELEGATES INTENDING TO HOLD A CONFERENCE AT THE HOTEL. I SAW A LOVELY PLACE, NICE ENVIRONMENT, AIRY AND SPACIOUS. THE MANAGER AND CHEF WERE OK IN DISPOSITION. THOUGH I DONT KNOW YET WHAT THE ATTITUDE OF THE ENTIRE STAFF COULD TURN OUT TO BE, AM OPTIMISTIC THAT GIVEN THE CIRCUMSTANCES, THE MANAGEMENT WILL RISE TO THE OCCASION AND ACT WELL THEIR PART IN ENSURING THAT EVERYTHING GOES WELL OTHERWISE, THERE WILL BE SERIOUS REPERCURSIONS....AS THE REPRESENTATIVE OF A TRADE UNION, THERE WILL BE SEVERE SHOWDOWN IF TOWELS ARE UNWASHED AND RECYCLED FOR CUSTOMER USE AS I HAVE READ. I HOPE THE MANAGEMENT READS THIS AND DO THE NEEDFUL.

Its a good start

I am surprised at the comments some people make. This is a hotel that is just about a year old or so. The hotel should be encouraged. We actually need projects like this to develop our state not to PULL-HIM-DOWN.

There has been several on-line negative comments about your hotel, is the management stupid? don`t this people realize that good customer service brings more customers to the business. I urge you the owners of the business to employ more competent people to run the hotel and get a little credibility.

I was really disappointed

The management of this hotel rip people off of their hard earned money. The staff are very rude and the bathrooms are dirty. They re-circle their towels without washing them. It`s a nice airry hotel and in good hands, the sky would be the limit.

What a waste of money

I stayed in this hotel in June. The suite was dark due to dark furnitures. It`s always a night mare to get the staff to give you clean towels, Used towels were given to me twice and i reported the problems to the boss but nothing was done about it. Very nice enviroment but the inside says nothing impresive about the beautiful building. They serve good food but their breakfast is zero. I didn`t get value for my money.
