One thing the poor know how to do pretty well is how to optimize the use of scarce funds.

Do you notice that there are no windows?

Yes, empty rice bags are torn up and used to close up the windows. Someday when funds become available real windows will appear wher they should be.

For now . . . the poor just cut there coats according to the size of the material they have.

Smart move. I like their sense of pride.
