A member of the four man robbery gang terrorising Somolu Bariga residents was yesterday 29th of August 2009 arrested by policemen from C.M.S Police station in Bariga after a tip off by members of the community.

The suspect Azeez was amongst the Robbery suspect reported in this column to have robbed innocent people on the 3rd of August 2009 at Olorunkemi street Bariga Lagos in which only one of them was arrested.

AZEEZ popularly known as EKAITE was arrested in the afternoon riding an Okada belonging to another person.

The arrest of the suspect also led to the arrest of some men whom Azeez claims they usually sell stolen items to.

In his confessional statement to the Police he claims he and his gang member who are still at large only uses toy gun to rob their victims.

Meanwhile the bike used by azeez for commercial purpose has been released to the owner after parting with five thousaund naira.

Before his arrest Azeez was hiding at Craig Street in Somolu a notorious haven for people who pose as Okada riders in the daytime and dare devils in the night.
