INSECURITY IN ABIA STATE NIGERIA

by Emeka Ndukwe
(Aba)

For the past Ten months now, Abia State has been experiencing the highest level of insecurity. On daily basis, hourly, minute and seconds, there has been Kidnappings all over the entire state; more expecially in the Aba region.

This has affected businesses, development and people not visiting Aba for fear of beign kidnnaped.

The targeted people are however the Rich, parents who laboured and passed through hard times to see to the well being of thier children; now reaping the fruit of their labour, public office holders, even those serving in the Government of Abia state at different levels.

The worries of most people resident at Aba and its environs are the insensitivity of the Abia state Government, The Nigerian Police, and the Federal Government at large.

We are calling for A state of Emergency to be declared by the federal government on Abia state without further delay, as the chief Executive officer of the state is not capable of administering the affairs of the state by protecting its citizens.

Moreso, the Commissioner of police and all the Area commanders of police in Abia state should be changed.

The AIG of Police for the zone should also be changed as they all have failed in their civic responsibily in serving the public.

The government of Theodor Orji has failed in his political mandate to give maximum security to the people of Abia State.

God will judge
by: Anonymous

Bad, bad and bad indeed for God's own State. Those who are supposed to protect the citizens have turned against them in disguise. Governance has failed us. Yet same people are picking nomination forms for another four years of slavery. We all live in fear and agony not knowing the next victim. God will judge in righteousness.

The Nigerian police
by: k.o.a Aba

I am so disappointed about Nigeran police, they are the people behind the insecurity in Abia state (a wolf in a sheep clothing), supplying aminations and information to their co-robbers...for instance, at ikeja police headquarters S.A.R.S Where our children are detained, tortured, convicted and killed on stay basis for no reason.
nevertheless, we ought to respect the law and abide in truth the world is coming to an end.

SAD INTERNET NEWS ABOUT GOD'S OWN STATE
by: Anonymous

It's a pitty that after all says, nothing is been done. the governor, local government chairmen, cancellors and Abia State police force, its a powerful pitty to you all. The truth of the issue is that, the poor masses have analysed and understood what your political promnises are made of.

The issue of Abia state and insecurity is now an international topic on daily bases, both on Daily's and internet. I believe that this is total failure in governance, unbearable humiliation and inhuman treatment on the poor masses who voted them in.

let the top office holders be prayerful, because of the issue of "THE MIGHTY HAS FALLEN"

T A orji's wicked leadership
by: Anonymous

the state no doubt is in bondage.it has never had it this bad before.T A Orji has proved to be the worst governor he state has ever produced.i am only comforted by the fact that no conditionn is permanent.he has sheepishly failed to learn from other peoples experience as he,his wife and prodigal son has decided to loot the state dry.the efcc and other anti graft agencies should come to the state and ask him where he got the money he is using to build estates from while workers are owed back log of salaries.
it is too bad and very heartless and unreasonable of him.
God save us.

TRUTH AND REAL
by: Anonymous

Yes, that is the truth and the real state of affairs in Abia state. The question now is can the federal govt. come to the rescue of the people of Abia state by sending federal troops to the state. Is it a PDP state? Notably, the Government of Theodore Orji has failed but what........ the state house of assembly still cannot do anything to protect their electorate co's they too are targets; are they serious----they should ask the Governor to quit office, but they cannot do it co's all of them are not capable and qualified to be in the state house of assembly. I pity Abia state oooooh, it is only God that can deliver Abia people.
