I Will Decongest Lagos And Move More People To Ogun State

Lagos is currently congested. The traffic situation is slowing down the pace of business and economic growth. So, one of my priorities will be to decongest Lagos by systematically bridging the divide between Lagos and Ogun state.

This is what I will do.

1. I will upgrade the Lagos Ibadan expressway to a 20 lane expressway to eliminate traffic jam on the expressway and encourage more people to purchase or let property along the expressway since it will easier to get to work without the traffic jam

2. I will create another service route from Mowe Ofada Owode to Lagos. This will take some traffic off Lagos Ibadan expressway and encourage more private developers to build more estates along that axis

3. I will upgrade Sango Ota to the status of a mega city. Metro line will move people from Sango Ota straight up to Victoria island

4. I will expand the Lagos Abeokuta sango ota road

5. I will create a new route from Lagos to sango ota

6. The Lagos Badagry expressway will become a 12 lane road

7. I will create a new route from Lagos to Badagry

8. I will complete 4th mainland bridge

9. I will creat another route from ikoyi to VI - the falomo brdge alone is insufficient
