Unfortunately, the Nigerian national team . . . the super Eagles . . . performed woefully in the 2010 world cup. And this broke the heart of many football lovers in Nigeria.
Fortunately, the resolute spirit of the Nigerian wasn't broken even though their beloved national team failed to win even a single match in the world cup.
Nigerians followed the world cup from start to finish and watched with excitement as their favorite teams mounted the world stage to show what they are made of.
