Fish Farming Nigeria - Poultry Hatcheries, Poultry Supplies & Snail Farming Tips
Fish farming directory Nigeria - This directory provides helpful information about fish farming (eg catfish farming), poultry farming, poultry hatcheries, poultry supplies, snail farming and more. | What is the purpose of this farming directory? Well, I have noticed a lot of enquiries regarding snail farming, poultry farming, catfish farming, and several aspects of farming by visitors to this real estate web site. I have also noted that many newspapers and other newsmagazines in Nigeria are loaded with adverts by people who claim to be making millions from their catfish or snail farming business. | These suppose experts invite ordinary people like you and I to attend seminars organized by successful farmers where they will teach the rest of us how to be successful farmers like them. The advertised fish farming seminars as well as the poultry farming seminars often cost between 7,000 to 15,000 Naira per course. And the organizers promise attendees hands-on training that will enable them set up and run their own farms. | The seminar organizers promise to provide reliable information regarding . . . ideal poultry startup procedure and processesReliable sources for poultry suppliesReliable poultry hatcheriesCatfish farming opportunitiesSnail farming methodology and export opportunities andOpportunity to earn as much as 500,000 to 1,000,000 Naira per month from the farming business | The organizers of these seminars make it look like the farming business is the next big thing for Nigerians. And that their unemployment woes will be quickly evaporated by turning to farming. It is good news that fish farming is generating a lot of interest among young and old in Nigeria. The same goes for poultry farming. The unfortunate part is that many fraudsters seem to have hijacked the seminar market and are ripping people off. | For example, a friend's father took his retrenchment pay and invested in fish farming after attending one of those highly advertised seminars. Armed with the information from the seminar, he invested everything he had in producing fingerlings. He was absolutely sure his big break was just around the corner. Sadly, he discovered after several false starts, that he had not be told everything he needed to succeed in those seminars. By the time he realized his mistakes, he had lost his capital base and was cash-strapped. | This is not to say all farming seminars (or seminars in general) are fraudulent. Perhaps the instructors provided the right information and my friend's father did not apply the information properly. Or perhaps the instructors were not experienced farmers themselves and therefore only taught what they read from books. Whatever the case, something went wrong either with the information provided or with the student's ability to implement the information. Bottom line Thousands of such students throw money into schemes that end up being a failure sooner than later. The truth is . . . seminar providers and marketers have generated a lot of interest in catfish farming, poultry farming, poultry supplies investing, snail farming business, and a host of other activities centred around building the ideal poultry or the ideal farm that will supposedly deliver millions of Naira in profits to farmers. Thousands of people have thrown money into these schemes and have been burned. And thousands more are in the process of getting drawn into these grandiose schemes that end up being one big disappointment.
Don't get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with fish farming, poultry farming, or poultry supplies business.
