Operation Change Nigeria - The Movement To Change Nigeria

Operation change Nigeria. If you were the president of the federal republic of Nigeria, what will be your first priority? What would you change immediately you get into office?

There are a whole number of issues that plague Nigeria. As a Nigerian or friend of Nigeria, you probably are concerned as to the direction the country is headed.

There are a myriad of issues.

The collapse of the energy sector seem to come up in every discussion. People no longer rely on the government for water supply - they dig boreholes or water well in droves.

Poor road network and maintenance is something journalists won't stop writing about. Port congestion is another issue that threaten business.

Devaluation of the Naira or - if you like - depreciation of the Naira is a major headache as imported goods have become deadly expensive. And for a country that is import dependent, we're in for real trouble.

Add to that the master of it all . . . corruption.

Corruption has eaten deep into the fabric of our society. Government officials want gratification for doing a job the government already pays them to do. Chieftaincy titles are often given to money bags without consideration for how they got rich.

Morality, a key of part of our culture, has been thrown to the wind. Poverty exist in a land of plenty. No thanks to corruption.

The big question: What hurts you the most? If you were to be president of the federal republic of Nigeria, what will you deal with immediately and decisively?
