Workshop Objectives:
1.The overall
goal of the workshop is to produce participant who are competent in
higher-order data analysis in educational research.
2.The workshop is
to enable students to acquire the declarative knowledge, procedural
knowledge, practical skills and generic competencies necessary to
empirically test and evaluate psycho-sociology theories that underscore
research in education.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion
workshop students should be able to:
1.Demonstrate knowledge and
understanding of concepts,methods,techniques,processes, and procedures
of structural equation model.

2.Apply methods,processes, steps,
and procedures of the data modeling individually and in teamwork,using
AMOS model-fitting programme.

3.Analyze, tabulate,
interpret,write, and present results of SEM, simulating the results
section of a scholarly research reports.

4.Evaluate and the
communicate verbally and in writing the use of the statistical tool in
real research settings,and

5.Demonstrate awareness of statistical
misuses and abuses in applying and consuming SEM-based research.
